Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) Invite Application for the post of Trainee

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) - a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise and the leading steel-making company in India, invites applications from eligible persons for the following posts

1) Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): 220 posts

To join as Trainee for 2 (two) years on consolidated pay. On successful completion of training, to be regularized in S-3 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs9160-3%-13150/-.

Age Limit: 18 to 28 years

Educational Qualification : Matric & Diploma in Engineering (3 years full time) in the discipline of Metallurgy/Chemical/ Ceramics/ Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrumentation/Civil/ Electronics

2) Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): 525 posts

To join as Trainee for 2 (two) years on consolidated pay. On successful completion of training, to be  regularized in S-1 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs8630-3%-12080/-.

Age Limit- 18 to28 years

Educational Qualification :

Matric & ITI (Full time) in the trade of Fitter / Electrician /Welder / Machinist / Turner / Instrumentation / Electronics / Refrigeration & AC / Diesel Mechanic

EMOLUMENTS & OTHER BENEFITS:
1. Candidates joining as Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) will be paid consolidated pay of Rs8250/- per
month for the 1st year and Rs9350/- per month for the 2nd year of training. On successful completion of
training, they shall be considered for regular employment in S-3 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs9160-
3%-13150/-.
2. Candidates joining as Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) will be paid consolidated pay of Rs6600/-
per month for the 1st year and Rs7700/- per month for the 2nd year of training. On successful completion
of training, they shall be considered for regular employment in S-1 grade in the Scale of Pay of
Rs8630-3%-12080/-.
