CSIR-CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF MINING AND FUEL RESEARCH INVITES APPLICATION FOR PROJECT ASSISTANT

A walk-in-interview will be held for engagement of under noted Project Assistants Level I on 01st March, 2012 & for Level II on 02nd March, 2012 at CIMFR, Digwadih Campus, Dhanbad from 10.30 A.M onwards for the time-bound projects. The candidates, having following qualifications may report between 9.00 A.M & 10.00 A.M for appearing at Interview before the Selection Committee on aforesaid dates at CIMFR, Digwadih Campus, PO-FRI, Dhanbad- 828 108 with all original documents and completed application form on a plain paper, indicating  Notification No., Name, Father’s name, Sex, Date of birth, Qualification (percentage of marks&year of passing from Matric onwards), Category (SC/ST/OBC/PH/UR), Address (Permanent & Correspondence along with contact No: viz Mobile/Landline No. & E-mail address), Experi ence etc. and Details of relationship with CIMFR / CSIR employees and Signature of applicant alongwith copies of all testimonials and certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer and a selfattestedpassport size photograph. The other details are as under -

1. Name of the Position : Project Assistant Level I
Number of Position : 16 (Sixteen) {UR-08, OBC-04, SC-02, ST-01,OBC (Muslims)-01}
Qualification : B.Sc in Chemistry/Geology or Diploma in Chemical Engg. with minimum 50% marks. In case of SC/ST candidates, these criteria shall be relaxed by 5%.
Age : Not more than 25 years as on 01.03.2012. Age will be relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged applicants etc., as per GoI rules.
Stipend :  9,000/- (Nine thousand only) p. m. (consolidated) + HRA.
2. Name of the Position : Project Assistant Level II
Number of Position : 02 (Two) {UR-01, OBC-01}
Qualification : M.Sc in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Geology/Applied Geology with minimum 55% marks. In case of SC/ST candidates, these criteria shall be relaxed by 5%.
Age : Not more than 28 years as on 02.03.2012. Age will be relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged applicants etc., as per GoI rules.
Stipend : ` 13,000/- (Thirteen thousand only) p.m. (Consolidated) +HRA.

3. Project Duration (for 1& 2) : One Year/Co-terminus with the Project.
4. Project Title : 

1. Quality Evaluation of Coal Cores Explored From Different Regions of India.
2. Collection & Quality monitoring of Coking Coal samples dispatched to SAIL from CCL washery &
ROM Coal.

The selected candidates may be required to work at any of its units at Nagpur, Bilaspur and Ranchi or any other project sites as per exigencies of the project. Medical facilities at CIMFR Dispensary will be extended to the Project Assistant as per CSIR Rules. Appearing candidates or those candidates whose results are awaited will not be allowed to appear in the Interview. No Travelling Allowance will be paid for appearing at the Interview.
