BARC INVITES APPLICATION OF ARCHITECTURE ENGINEER

Applications are invited from qualified, experienced and highly committed architects to shoulder responsibilities 

for architectural designing of buildings and structures for nuclear facilities as per the following requirement:

Name of the Post : Technical Officer/Engineer ‘D’ (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Post)
Number of vacancies : 02 (Two)
Qualification : M.Arch or B.Arch with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
Upper Age Limit : 40 years as on 01/01/2012
Experience : 2 years after M.Arch OR 4 years after B. Arch in Architectural planning and design.
Place of work : NRB, BARC, Tarapur, Maharashtra.
Nature of work : Selected candidates will get opportunity to take up the responsibility of Architectural design of structures/buildings for nuclear facilities in the country.

Pay band : Rs.15600-39100
Pay in the Pay Band : Rs. 18,750/-
Grade Pay : Rs. 6600
Emoluments : Total emoluments at the entry level is approximately Rs. 5 lakhs per annum plus House Rent Allowance as applicable.

Application should be accompanied by non-refundable crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft for
Rs.250/= ( Rupees Two hundred and Fifty only ) drawn in favour of “Pay and Accounts Officer, BARC
Facilities” payable at Kalpakkam. Women candidates, SC/ST candidates and dependents of defence service personnel killed in action are exempted from paying the fee.

How to Apply:
1. Application, preferably typewritten on thick foolscap paper, should be submitted in the prescribed format given below.
2. The envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of TO/D (Architect) againstAdvt. No. 01/2012 ” .
3. PHOTOGRAPH: A recent passport size photograph should be affixed in the space provided in the
application and one additional copy of the passport size photograph should be sent along with the
application.
4. COPIES OF CERTIFICATES: Candidates should submit along with their application photocopies of
certificates of:
(i) Educational qualifications & technical qualifications (Mark sheets & degree certificate).
(ii) Work experience.
(iii) Date of Birth (Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificates or equivalent certificate).
(iv) Proof of claim that the candidate belongs to SC/ST (applicable to SC/ST candidates only)
(v) Proof of dependence of defence service personnel killed in action (where applicable).
