The Institute for Plasma Research is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement fusion and industrial applications of plasmas. Applications are invited from highly motivated and result oriented candidates for the posts of :

 
1- ENGINEER – SC (MECHANICAL)
No. of Post – 1
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

B.E. / B.Tech. B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical   Engineering having minimum one year 

working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis.

2-ENGINEER – SC (CIVIL)
No. of Post – 1
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : 

B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Civil Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in building construction work and site supervision work and should be computer literate. 

3-ACCOUNTS OFFICER – I
No. of Post – 1
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : 

ACA / SAS with minimum 3 years experience or M.Com. with 6 years experience in supervisory capacity or B.Com. with 10 years experience of which 5 years in a supervisory capacity in Accounts and Auditing. Acquaintance with Government rules & regulations, familiarity with computers is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who also have broad knowledge of administrative and purchase procedures.

 
4-ENGINEER (PROJECT) (MECHANICAL)
No. of Posts – 2
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: B.E. / B.Tech. B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum one year working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis. 

5-SCIENTIST (PROJECT)
No. of Posts – 2
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

M.Sc. Physics (First Class) having minimum one year working experience in spectroscopic measurements consisting of handling atleast one optical instrument like spectrometer, photo-multiplier tube, different types of lenses, optical fibers, interference filters etc. Knowledge of different standards used in optical system design and basic knowledge of vacuum is desirable. Knowledge of scientific programming language will be added advantage. 

 
6-SCIENTIST (PROJECT)
No. of Posts – 3
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :

M.Sc. / M.Tech. Physics / Applied Physics / Neutronics (First Class) having minimum one year working experience in research & development activities. 

PAY SCALE : Posts at Sl.No.1 to 3 : Pay Band 3 (PB-3) Rs. 15600-39100 with basic Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (Gross Pay Rs.37380/- p.m.)
