Allahabad Bank Invites Application for the post of Probationary Officer

PROBATIONARY OFFICERS’ RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2012-13

i) Allahabad Bank invites applications for recruitment of 1600 Probationary Officers from Indian citizens who have taken the pre-requisite Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai in 2011-12 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS.
ii) Only candidates possessing valid Score Card issued by IBPS Mumbai are required to apply ON-LINE through Bank’s website www. allahabadbank.in where full advertisement and Fee Payment Challan are available.
iii) Direct Entry to Group Discussion and Interview or only Interview A limited number of eligible applicants who are ranked high on the basis of aggregate marks in the Score Card (as stipulated hereinafter) will be called either for Group Discussion and Interview or only Interview, to be decided by the Bank in due course.

a) The candidates are required at first to see the eligibility criteria and if eligible, take a print of the Fee Payment Challan available in Bank’s website www.allahabadbank.in, fill in completely, pay the fee and / or intimation charges in cash at any branch of Allahabad Bank in the designated Account No.50087755346 and obtain receipt with Journal Number mentioned on it, and then apply On-Line through the Recruitment link provided at the Bank’s website.

Grade/Scale: Probationary Officer, JMG, Scale-I 

Age- Minimum : 20 Years, Maximum : 30 Years
Qualification

(A) Graduate in any discipline from a recongnized University/ Institution.
AND
(B) Working knowledge in Computer Operation with Certificate /Diploma / Degree in Computer operations/Language
OR
Studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ Colleges/Institutes.

Essential Requirement
Minimum Total Weighted Standard Score (as mentioned in the IBPS Score Card) obtained in the
Common Written Examination for Pos / MTs 2011-12:-
FOR GENERAL :: 125
FOR OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PWD :: 112
NOTE: Candidates should also secure minimum marks, i.e. 24 for General category and 21 for
Reserved categories, in each subject including descriptive test in C.W.E.
